Benue state University POST UTME (PUTME) SCREENING EXERCISE FOR THE 2011/2012 ACADEMIC YEAR
Benue state University Post UTME Screening Exercise for admission of candidates into undergraduate programmes of Benue State University, Makurdi for the 2011/2012 academic session will take place as from Friday 19th to Saturday 20th August, 2011. Accordingly, candidates who chose the University as Most Preferred First and More Preferred Second Choices are advised to report to the University for the Exercise.
2 Eligibility
Candidates that choose Benue State University, Makurdi as their Most Preferred First and More Preferred Second Choices and scored 180 and above in their UTME are eligible. Candidates who meet the cut-off mark and pass the Post UTME screening exercise may be recommended for placement into programmes other than those of their Most Preferred First Choice.

Batch ‘A’ Faculty of Social Sciences
Date: Friday 19th August, 2011
Venue: 1st and 2nd Campuses of the University and College of Health Sciences
Final Accreditation: 8.00am – 9.00am
Screening: 10.00am – 11.00am
Batch ‘B’ Faculties of Arts, Education and Law
Date: Friday 19th August, 2011
Venue: 1st and 2nd Campuses of the University and College of Health Sciences
Final Accreditation: 1.00 p.m. – 2.00 p.m.
Screening: 3.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m.
Batch ‘C Faculties of Management Sciences, Science and MB.BS
Date: Saturday 20th August 2011
Venue: 1st and 2nd Campuses of the University and College of Health Sciences
Final Accreditation: 8.00am – 9.00am
Screening: 10.00am – 11.00am
PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT & REGISTRATION
Candidates shall be required to:
i. Pay a non-Refundable fee to Benue State University, Makurdi Online in any of the
designated banks using their UTME Registration Number as User ID and Password as follows;.
Screening fee - N1,000.00
Processing fee - N1,500.00
Total - N2,500.00
ii. The designated banks are as follows:

iii. Using your UTME Registration No. proceed to register online for the Post UTME screening exercise from Monday 8th to Thursday 18th August, 2011 through the BSU website using the BSU Portal link www.bsum.edu.ng.
iv. Proceed with the Online registration Print-out and receipt of payment to the Faculty of your programme of choice for documentation and signing by the Dean of the Faculty.
v. Produce JAMB UTME Online Result Slip with a recent passport photograph affixed to be submitted during the Screening Exercise.
vi. Come along with writing materials.
Candidates are advised to adhere strictly to the schedule and their choices of programmes at UTME.
