The College of Arts, Social and Management Sciences (CASMAS) would co-ordinate the training programme which would lead to an award of Accounting Technician Scheme, West Africa (ATS/ATSWA) Certificate approved by the Association of Accounting Bodies in West Africa (ABWA).
Holders of the Certificate easily qualify for employment in the Public Sector, Industry, Commerce and Offices of Practising Accountants. The Certificate also provides the opportunity for rapid progress towards full qualification as a Professional Accountant before graduation.
The ATS/ATSWA Certificate Programme is open to all students irrespective of course of study.
