This was contained in a statement by the Council’s Deputy Director, Public Affairs, Mr. Yusuf Ari, and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday.A breakdown of the figure showed that there would be 62 chief examiners, 9,158 team leaders and 51,687 assistant examiners.
The statement said that the various categories of the examiners would meet between June 16 and 29, in 75 centres across the country.
The coordination meetings of the chief examiners and team leaders was held on Thursday.
The meetings for the assistant examiners would take place between June 17 and 19 at all venues.
According to the statement, the actual marking of scripts will commence on Monday, June 20 and end on Wednesday, June 29.
The statement advised examiners who were yet to receive their letters of invitation for the exercise to collect them at the council’s offices in their respective states or at the marking venues.
It, however, explained that the council was also making arrangements to enable examiners to print their letters of invitations from its website.http://waeconline.org.ng/e-learning/index.htm
