400 school Teachers to be Rewarded by TREM

The Redeemed Evangelical Mission in conjunction with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria and the Ministry of Education is set to reward 400 teachers in the Federal Capital Territory for their selfless service.
This award ceremony is part of activities lined up for the Teachers Appreciation Day and was announced by Rev. Ayodeji Cole, the Senior Pastor of TREM Vision House, Utako, Abuja, on Wednesday.

He explained that the star prize of a brand new car would be awarded to the best teacher in the FCT.

Cole said last year, 200 teachers from various private and public nursery, primary and secondary schools were honored during TAD with the then Minister of Education, Dr. Sam Egwu, describing the event as “unparallel and phenomenal.”

The Teacher Appreciation Day is the brainchild of Rev. Cole who deemed it fit to recognise moulders of the nation’s future leaders.

According to Cole, “ With more than three million teachers concerned with low morale in their teaching profession, we believe that the TAD Award is important and well worth the effort, we are particularly proud of the fact that the Federal Ministry of Education is solidly in support of this morale-boosting assignment to our deserving school teachers.”

The TAD gala night will feature humour merchant, Holy Mallam, Halal Team, youth and children displays, while 400 teachers will go home with gifts.

A lucky winner amongst the teachers will drive home a brand new car as a reward for dedication and commitment to the teaching profession.
