Jamb Sacks Six Staffs Over Examination Malpractise/Racketeering

Six workers of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have been dismissed for alleged examination racketeering in the last one year, JAMB Registrar, Dibu Ojerinde, has said.

Mr Ojerinde, who disclosed this at a meeting of coordinators for the 2011 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) yesterday in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, warning that any member of staff found to be engaged in any unwholesome act would be dismissed from service to safeguard the future of the nation.
He said that nobody, no matter how highly placed, would pay his way to get high JAMB scores in the country anymore.
